The National Highway Safety Administration is currently in talks with Google and other auto-manufacturers about releasing the “automatic car” to the public, where even riders that are blind could sit behind the wheels and make it in one piece. The government officials are currently researching the product and testing it for its safety and reliability before releasing it to the public. Previous feats of the self-driving Google Car includes acquiring a driver’s license in Nevada and is already being tested on roads in California and Florida.
